Ancillary equipment for inserting a malleolar implant for a partial or total ankle prosthesis and implant suitable for being inserted with this equipment

The equipment comprises a spacer unit (11), able to be inserted between the tibia (T) and the astragalus (A) of an ankle, and a foot (20) integral with the unit and extending near to the external surface (3a) of the malleolus fibula (3) when the spacer unit is in place. The foot supports a malleolus drilling guide (23) from its external surface. The spacer unit has a reception housing (14) for a wedge (15) of a thickness (E) adapted to the space (E') between the lower surfaces of the tibia and the upper surface of the astragalus. An Independent claim is included for a malleolus implant.
