Rifle comprises a rear shaft with a housing having a housing sleeve, and a barrel having a barrel sleeve (7) which is removably received by the housing sleeve. The housing sleeve has a longitudinal slit (12) and devices in the region of the slit for changing the slit width. The housing sleeve diameter is adjusted to the barrel sleeve diameter using the devices. The barrel sleeve is fixed to the housing sleeve in a form-locking manner. Preferred Features: The devices consist of at least one screw (15) bridging the slit under tension and at least one screw (16) spreading the slit.
