<p>The bearing cushion system has a continual strip of material capable of absorbing vibration that is bonded to a mild steel plate, the dimensions of which match a service cover frame so as to provide uniform support for the frame. The cushion system is placed directly under the frame and rests upon the walls of the chamber below. The continual strip of vibration-absorbing material is made of a rubber compound or suitable synthetic equivalent and may have a recess running the entire length of the strip on the face that is bonded to the steel plate.</p> |
