Relates to stripper-beaters which are mounted between the threshing drum and the straw-rack of a threshing machine or combine-harvester. According to the invention, a stripper beater comprises a rotary cylindrical shell 20 with peripheral teeth 21 each extending outwardly and rearwardly relative to the direction of rotation 22. As shown in Fig. 3, the teeth may be integrally formed in groups from arcuate plates 24 secured to the shell 20, the plates being arranged in chevron formation in relation to the mid-plane 25 of the shell. |
