A sleeve (6) made of flexible material, is tightly attached to the wall of the enclosure (2). A sealant layer fitted to the sleeve, has a bore for fitting with transfer unit such as pipe, cable. The sealing layer is subjected to compressive force, for sealing off any interspaces between transfer unit and bore and between sealing layer and sleeve.
