<p>A mist feeding mechanism of a rotary tool capable of cooling and/or lubricating the rotary tool (18) during the machining of a work by feeding mist under pressure to the rotary tool (18) disposed on a rotating shaft (10), wherein the rotary tool (18) is disposed on a sleeve (16) of a specified length inserted onto the rotating shaft (10), a plurality of axially extending mist feeding passages (38) are provided in the sleeve (16), and the mist is fed to the rotary tool (18) through the mist feeding passages (38), whereby cooling and lubricating functions can be easily provided to an existing cutting device by smoothly feeding the mist to the rotary tool under rotation without passing through the rotating shaft carrying the rotary tool, and even various types of commercial rotary tools having inner diameters not matching the outer diameters of the rotating shaft can be freely selected for use.</p> |
