<p>Jointing a strip of composite structure consisting of a barrier strip, a juncture ribbon and layer of hot melting adhesive, the juncture ribbon formed by separate spaced elements with an interstice between each, a common medium fixing the juncture ribbon to the adhesive on one side of the barrier strip, the adhesive coat weighting at least 11.3 g/m of strip length. The fixation medium will incorporate a seam or hooks or a clamping device. The adhesive bonds the junction ribbon to the barrier strip. The junction ribbon is almost completely engulfed in the adhesive. The edges of the adhesive coat are spaced towards the inside of the junction ribbon edges or barrier strip or both.</p> |
