The object of the present invention is a flexible plastic container (1) having three chambers and intended for the spatially separated storage and, optionally, selective sterilization of the ingredients of preparations for parenteral or enteral administration. The invented container (1) comprises three compartments, i.e. a first compartment (3), a second compartment (4) and a third compartment (5). The compartments (3, 4, 5) being separated from each other by sealed welds of a packaging material have filling holes, i.e. a first filling hole (7). a second filling hole (8) and a third filling hole (9), and a connecting first passage (10) and a second passage (11) that are performed as peal-off thermally sealed welds, can be opened sterilely from the outside and by means of which said three compartments (3, 4, and 5) can be mutually interconnected, whereby volume ratios between the first compartment (3), the second compartment (4) and the third compartment (5) are selected such that rapid mixing of all ingredients without time-consuming pressing and kneading operations by the hospital personnel is possible within compartment (5) by opening the first passage (10) and the second passage (11), whereby the first compartment (3) contains carbohydrates, the second compartment (4) contains lipids and the third compartment (5) contains amino acids. |
