<p>In the present invention, there is disclosed a split commutator located on both sides of an electric rotating machine intended particularly for dynamically balanced electric motors and dynamos with the highest electric insulation resistance, wherein the commutator of the present invention consists of two basic commutator parts/bodies (1A and 1B) with metal segments (2A and 2B) followed with electric insulation segments (3A and 3B) fastened thereon, whereby the odd metal segments (2A) are located on and electrically connected to the first side (A) of a rotor (8), while the even metal segments (2B) are located on and electrically connected to the other side (B) of the rotor (8). Said rotor (8) is connected with a shaft (7) to which said basic commutator parts/bodies (1A and 1B) are also attached wherein said basic commutator parts/bodies (1A and 1B) are electrically non-conducting. Four collector brushes (4) disposed on both sides (A and B) of the rotor adhere to the split commutator of the present invention.</p> |
