The family of power transmissions has six torque transmitting clutches (50,52,54,56,58,59) which provide interconnection between three gear sets (20,30,40), two fixed interconnections, an input shaft (17), an output shaft (19) and a transmission housing (60). The torque transmitting clutches engage in combinations of three to establish at least seven forward speed ratios and a reverse speed ratio.
