The method of separating and working on a shingled array of printed products has the products moved along a guide path (1) when held in an angled orientation. The printed products are moved from this position individually or in preset groups through a separator (5) which removes them from the remaining products and to a discharge conveyor (8). Claims include a conveyor for carrying out the method.
