PURPOSE: An apparatus for covering a lead wire of a pump at a dishwasher is provided to form a single protrusion for preventing the introduction of the water due to the operation of the pump and a covering piece for closely attaching to the single protrusion so as to shut off the water. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for covering a lead wire of a pump at a dishwasher is composed of a motor housing(30) containing a motor for supplying cleaning water and washing water to nozzles of the dishwasher and a covering member(40) on an opening(32) of the motor housing. The motor housing has a fixing portion(33) at the outer side of the opening to be connected with a lead wire(60) for controlling the operation and the power supply to a motor(31). The covering member has a mount(41) fixed with the fixing portion of the motor housing(30) at the outer side of the main body to protect the opening and lead wire. A single protrusion(34) is formed at the outer side of the opening to prevent the introduction of the water due to the operation of the pump. A covering piece(43) is formed to enclose the single protrusion in the cover member.
