PURPOSE: An interworking device with a PBX in an IAD(Integrated Access Device) is provided to directly connect PCM data to a highway of a PBX, and to replace an SPI(Serial Port Interface) for exchanging information between a DSP and a CODEC and a logic for exchanging information between the CODEC and an SLIC(Subscriber Line Interface Circuit), thereby interworking with the PBX. CONSTITUTION: A DSP(10) connects PCM-related data to a highway of a PBX, and controls SLIC information through an SPI. A CPLD(Complex Programmable Logic Device)(22) directly supplies the SLIC information given through the SPI from the DSP(10) to a private exchange. The CPLD(22) transmits the SLIC information through the SPI, reads a state of an SLIC, reflects a detected hook-off state on a state of the SLIC, and generates a ring signal. A TMC(Trunk Module Controller)(24) interfaces between the CPLD(22) and the private exchange. |
