With this folded out, a cutout (11) gives access to the machinery compartment (9) below the entry region. The compartment can also be accessed from the well of the lift (elevator) shaft (1). If the cabin is stuck on the lowest floor, emergency operations can be carried out via the folded-out channel bar and the cutout. |
