PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosensitive recording type magnetic medium having excellent blocking preventing capacity under high pressure by providing a thermal recording layer on a support, and providing a magnetic recording layer containing at least one type of wax-like substance selected from a group consisting of a fatty amide and paraffin WAX on the rear surface. SOLUTION: A thermal recording layer is provided on a support, and a magnetic recording layer containing at least one type of wax-like substance selected from a group consisting of fatty amide and paraffin WAX is provided on the rear surface. The recording layer further contains wax-like substance selected from a group consisting of metal stearate and bisamide ethylene stearate. As the fatty amide, amide stearate is used, as the metal stearate, zinc stearate is used, and as the dispersant of the substance, and dispersant of polycarboxylic acid is used. The substance which has volumetric mean particle size of 0.2 to 5μm is used. |
