Method for masking of, at least, one edge of the part of surface, which is treated with the use of camouflage adhesive seam, which contains elongated porous material resistant to the surface treatment, and, at least, one adhesive section, which contains, at least, one groove, at least, one part of the wall of which contains the section inclined at an angle smaller than 45 DEGREE with respect to the adhesive section. The application of the said seam can be made by guiding the said angle during introduction into the groove, at least, of a part of, at least, one finger of the user. Camouflage adhesive seam is superimposed with possibility of its removal, at least, on the part of edge of surface, which is treated, and is removed at the end of working. This invention also concerns the method of dyeing, at least, a part of the car, which contains the stage of masking described above.
