PURPOSE: To improve signal characteristics by using the coordinate bonded matter of a specific phthalocyanine compd. and a nitrogen-contg. compd. selected from a substd. or cyclized amino compd., imino compd. and azo compd. CONSTITUTION: The light absorption layer of this optical recording medium is composed of the coordinate bonded matter of the metal phthalocyanine compd. expressed by a specific general formula and the nitrogen-contg. compd. selected from the substd. or cyclized amino compd., imino compd. and azo compd. as its essential component. As a result, the signal characteristics are excellent, reproduction errors hardly arise and light resistance is excellent. |
