PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting method of the transferred image aberration of an image forming device which detects a deviation value without arranging the various kinds of sensors for measuring the deviation value at the inside of an image forming device main body. SOLUTION: As for the detecting method of the transferred image aberration by the transferred state of a test pattern printed on a recording medium, the test pattern is formed of a set of first patterns(25a, 26a, 27a and 28a) formed in a striped state by having a specified line width and a specified interval and second patterns(25b, 26b, 27b and 28b) having an interval different from that of the first pattern which are mutually opposed, and the set is printed on the left end part and the right end part of the recording medium in a carrying direction, so that the deviation value is detected from the value of the coincident part of the first pattern and the second pattern. |
