PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational method of a redox flow battery which can suppress energy loss and deterioration of an electrolytic solution generated by self-discharge or the like in waiting for operation. SOLUTION: In the operation, charge-discharge is carried out by supplying the electrolytic solution to a cell in a cell stack 1 from a tank 2 to stock the electrolytic solution. In waiting for the operation, the electric discharge has been carried out beforehand from an inverter 5 only in a state that the circulation of the electrolytic solution is stopped. |
