PURPOSE: A shopping bag is provided to adaptably change its capacity, to be variably used regardless of the shape and size of items to be accommodated therein, to be used for various purposes, and to increase the efficiency and convenience in carrying and using the same. CONSTITUTION: The shopping bag comprises: a main body having a bottom sheet(1); an adjustment band(2) formed along the edge of the main body and used as a handle by being pulled; a pleat portion(3) having openings(4, 4a) at both sides thereof; a fixing band(7) having connection members(7a, 7b) formed at opposite ends thereof to increase the portability of the bag; and an auxiliary fixing band(8) having another connection member(8a) for tightening the closed edge of the bag after putting the items therein.
