PURPOSE: An optical information storage medium and a recording and/or reproducing method thereof are provided to simplify a process of manufacturing the optical information storage medium. CONSTITUTION: An optical information storage medium includes a read-in region(10), a user data region(13), and a read-out region(15). Data is recorded in a part of the read-in region or the entire read-in region as wobbling pits, and data is recorded in other regions as pits. The region in which the data is recorded as the wobbling pits is a region where information that is not changed for the same physical format is recorded. The region in which the wobbling pits are recorded records information related with the storage medium. The region in which the data is recorded as the wobbling pits has a data recording modulation method different from a data recording modulation method of the region in which the data is recorded as the pits.
