PURPOSE: An apparatus for extracting anode of plating cell is provided to prevent damage of facility and safety accident of workers an improve plating quality of strip by safely and promptly extracting consumed anode arranged inside the plating cell from anode bridge during electroplating of the strip. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a sliding unit(10) installed on shaft of conductor roll of the plating cell in such a manner that the sliding unit is moved back and forth; a rotation arm(30) rotationally installed on the sliding unit; a mandrel unit(50) which is horizontally installed in front of a fixed box(52) installed on a lower part of the rotation arm, and which is inserted into an opening part formed on the anode of the plating cell in such a way that the mandrel unit is contracted and expanded by anode touching means installed at the fixed box; and an anode skimmer installed on a plate(12) of the plating cell to station the anode extracted, wherein the sliding unit comprises first sliding unit, second sliding unit(10b) and cover(10c), and a linear cross bearing(16) is inserted into the second sliding unit so that the sliding unit is slid back and forth along shaft of the roll during driving of cylinder, and wherein the mandrel unit comprises moving shaft(58) and mandrel(62), and first electromagnets(64) are arranged between moving block(56) and fixed box, second electromagnets(70) are arranged between supporting shaft(68) and fixed box, and a power supply cable(72) is connected to the electromagnets(64,70) through the rotation arm.
