The braking assembly includes two separate braking devices for blocking rotation of the two rear wheels in response to actuation of a foot lever on each wheel or left and right hand levers mounted on the sides of the handlebar of the trolley. A hydraulic circuit including a master cylinder, piping and a piston, are used to actuate the braking device. Actuation of the right brake (P1) combined with the use pushing the trolley on the left side (P2) causes the trolley to rotate (R) about a virtual point (E).
