PURPOSE: A device for forming a wireless image is provided to vary a timeout value according to an RSSI of wirelessly transceived data, and to stop or continue a data receiving operation based on the varied timeout value, thereby increasing a success rate of a wireless printing function. CONSTITUTION: An image forming device(100) comprises as follows. A wireless communicator(120) receives/demodulates/outputs image data transmitted from an external device, detects a wireless RSSI of the image data, and outputs RSSI information. An image former(110) variably controls a timeout value based on the RSSI information, and stops receiving the data if a non-receiving state of the data continues while exceeding the timeout value. The wireless communicator(120) comprises as follows. A wireless communication module receives/demodulates the image data, detects the wireless RSSI, and outputs the RSSI information. A storage temporarily stores the demodulated image data to output the data, and stores a control program for detecting the wireless RSSI. A CPU loads the control program to control data communication operations and wireless RSSI detecting operations, and outputs the RSSI information.
