The support structure includes assembled longitudinal elements (3) that form a trellis type support structure, and that is constituted at least partially by support profiles formed from composite material. At least some of the support profiles are hollow and include longitudinal partitions parallel to their lateral faces offering sufficient resistance to the pull out of screws perpendicular to the partitions. Grooves (8) or other markings may be formed on the lateral faces of the support structure. Independent claims are included for: accessories for the construction of the above support structure, e.g. including a U-shaped part (20) for perpendicularly joining two support structures; and a joist including at least one of the above accessories.
