PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and driving method therefor is provided to prevent the damage on a pad and a connector by minimizing electric potential difference between adjacent pads. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises an upper electrode group(SG) including two or more upper electrodes(S1 to S3) arranged in parallel with each other on a first substrate; a data electrode(A) arranged on a second substrate which is opposed to the first substrate with a discharge space formed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the data electrode is arranged to be perpendicular to the upper electrode group; and a plurality of pads(LP1,RP2,RP3) connected to upper electrodes from a side and the opposite side of the first substrate, such that the different number of pads are disposed at the side and the opposite side of the first substrate.
