APPARATUS FOR REMOVING MISCELLANEOUS MATERIALS IN SEWAGE AND WASTEWATER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing miscellaneous materials in sewage and wastewater is provided to supply cleanly purified water by filtering suspended solids or varieties of contaminants included in sewage and wastewater. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a sewage and wastewater tank(12) having a certain volume on an upper part of which a sewage and wastewater inflow port(10) is formed in such a way that the sewage and wastewater inflow port is directly connected to a sewage and wastewater supply pipe to supply sewage and wastewater into the sewage and wastewater tank through the sewage and wastewater inflow port, and on a lower part of which a purification treated water discharge port(11) is formed to discharge purification treatment completed purified water from the sewage and wastewater tank; and a filter(15) which is installed in the sewage and wastewater tank, a lower circumference of which is communicated with the inside of the sewage and wastewater tank, and a lower center of which is connected to the purification treated water discharge port so as to filter impurities in sewage and wastewater over three times as guiding flow of the sewage and wastewater from the upper part to the lower part of the filter along the central part of the filter again after guiding flow of sewage and wastewater from lower part to upper part of the filter along the outer wall of the filter using first filtering layer formed of sand and crushed gravel layer in the outer wall of the filter and second and third filtering layers formed of microbial medium layer in upper and central parts of the filter.
