<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device of a drawing up quantity of a developer which quantitatively samples, in a prescribed area, weighty powder such as the developer which may be attracted by magnetic force held by a development roller and measures a drawing up quantity of the developer in a short period of time with little dispersion and high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with developer sampling unit 300 having a suction nozzle 301, a filter 302, a screen 303, a holder 304 and a developer storage part 305; and a suction pumps 306 such as a vacuum pump. The powder of a developer which is attracted by the magnetic force on a two component development roller 101 is sucked and collected with the developer sampling unit 300. Then, the developer sampling unit 300 is detached and the weight is measured with a metering instrument 307, and the drawing up quantity per unit area is measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
