<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed air to a reactor so as to uniformly be distributed from an air feed tube. <P>SOLUTION: The oxidant feeding apparatus comprises an air feed tube 2 set inside a reformed gas flow passage 1 of a reactor inlet, and in which a part of fed air is jetted from a plurality of air jet holes 3 provided at the side faces on the reformed gas flow passage 1, a manifold 4 feeding the air from air feed edges 2a, a flow rate control valve 7 and a compressor 9, a manifold 5 for exhausting an excess of air from air exhaust ends 2b, and an air reflux pipe 10. An excessive air over required amount for the reactor is fed into the air feed tube 2 to increase the flow velocity inside the air feed tube 2, and the air pressure gradient from the feed side to the exhaust side in the air feed tube 2 is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
