<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an external preparation for skin containing one or more kinds of skin elasticity ameliorants selected from active ingredients for providing the skin with firmness and moisture, especially a cosmetic which has excellent feels (elasticity, emollient feeling, spread and moisture retaining property) in use and improved stability with time, especially a massage cream. <P>SOLUTION: The external preparation for skin contains one or more kinds of skin elasticity ameliorants selected from active ingredients which have no adverse effect, are stable and safe and provide the skin with firmness and moisture. The skin care preparation contains the skin elasticity ameliorant and/or one or more kinds of essential components. The external preparation for skin provides a cosmetic which has excellent feels (elasticity, emollient feeling, spread and moisture retaining property) in use and improved stability with time, especially a massage cosmetic.
