<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination radio communication terminal station which detects a base station having a good communication condition within a short time among a plurality of base stations using a code division multiplex communication system, without losing the portability. <P>SOLUTION: A channel presuming unit 51 has a threshold preset for a detection output. It obtains the power of a detection result inputted from a code division multiplex communication base band and compares the power with the threshold to output the comparison result to a channel counter 52. The counter 52 has a counter coincident with a channel number set in a frequency synthesizer 72 and updates the counter upon the frequency setting to the frequency synthesizer. If the power of the detection result is higher than the threshold held in the channel presuming unit 51, the counter 52 stores its count value in a memory 53 to control the existence of the channel detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
