METHOD OF SUPPRESSING PRINTING OF NEARLY-BLANK PAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of suppressing a waste and a drawback caused by printing of nearly-blank pages.

SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of checking if a nearly-blank page is requested by checking a printing request (step 702), branching a flow of the method according to whether or not a nearly-blank page is requested (step 703) and print a page upon recognition that the nearly-blank page is not requested (step 704). Upon recognition that the nearly-blank page is requested, the printing of the nearly-blank page is omitted or suppressed.
