TRANSFER PLATE FOR FORMING ALIGNMENT LAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer plate for forming alignment layers capable of forming the alignment layers at a uniform thickness even if strong printing pressure acts on the terminal portions of the transfer plate.

SOLUTION: The transfer plate 100 forms the alignment layers 140 by applying a printed alignment material 800 on a substrate 100. The transfer plate has a base film 620 and a liquid photosensitive resin plate material layer 640. A plurality of halftone dots are regularly arrayed on the liquid photosensitive resin plate material layer and the arrays of the external halftone dots 670 of the halftone dots corresponding to the outer side of the active region of the substrate are denser than the arrays of the internal halftone dots 660 of the halftone dots corresponding to the inner side of the active region of the substrate.
