PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directional microphone that is thinner and has better directivity than the conventional microphone. SOLUTION: The directional microphone comprises a microphone unit having a vibrating membrane having a conductive pattern that is arranged so that it opposes a permanent magnet board; and a sound insulation board that is spread along a rear with a specific gap at an area to the rear at the opposite side to a front directed to the sound source of the microphone unit and insulates sound directed to the rear.
