PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device of a color selection electrode for a color cathode-ray tube preventing generation of bending force at the ends of an elastic member, when bending the elastic member by first pressure means, and applying pressure to a retaining member by second pressure means. SOLUTION: The manufacturing device comprises: a frame 4 having a pair of retaining members 4a facing each other, and a pair of elastic members 4b facing each other, each connect both ends of the retaining members 4a respectively; and a color selection electrode thin plate 3 stretched between the retaining members 4a of the frame 4. The manufacturing device further comprises a stopper member 16 for preventing the vicinity of the center in the longitudinal direction of the elastic member 4b from moving upward, and a vertical direction pressure member 17 for pressing upwardly the lower surface of the both ends in the longitudinal direction of the retaining members 4a.
