SHIELD STRUCTURE OF BOARD CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield structure of a board connector allowing good connection to an earthed casing. SOLUTION: This board connector 1 fixed to an end of a printed circuit board P and used for fitting and connecting a mating connector 11 is provided with a dielectric material 2 having a receiving chamber 2c for receiving the mating connector 11, and an outer conductor shell 4 for housing the dielectric material 2. A body part 4a covering the circumference of the dielectric material 2 of the conductor shell 4 is integrally equipped with: a contact piece 4d contacting an outer conductor shell 14 of the mating connector 11 in the receiving chamber 2c of the dielectric material 2; leg pieces 4g connected to a ground pattern of the circuit board P; and an earth piece 4b fixed to the wall surface of the earthed casing C by a fastening member 5.
