PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hypertext display system for updating the display details on a hypertext screen efficiently without providing any special means to a browser when data to be changed in real time are included in hypertext. SOLUTION: A hypertext generation means 2 in a WWW server 10 comprises: a real-time data specification identifying means 4 for identifying real-time data specification from expansion hypertext for registering at a real-time data management table 6; a real-time data management means 3 for acquiring real-time data from an external real-time data supply means; and a hypertext outputting means 5 for outputting hypertexts by referring to the real-time management table according to an instruction from the real-time data management means, thus updating the display details on the hypertext screen efficiently when data to be changed in real time are included.
