PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To include a function for displaying a key mode "Num Lock" or the like in a wireless keyboard device body. SOLUTION: On an upper surface cover frame 12, display windows 3, 4, 5 are formed which display the statuses of key modes "Num Lock", " Caps Lock" and "Scroll Lock". On a slide guide 13 on the backside, display plates 6, 7, 8 are fitted. With racks 14 on the backside of the display plates 6, 7, 8 and pinions 16 fixed to shafts 15 of motors 9, 10, 11, a slide mechanism is constituted. The left halves L of the surfaces of the display plates 6, 7, 8 are tinted with green or the like, and the right halves R are tinted same as the upper face cover frame 12. According to the operation of the key of key mode such as "Num Lock", the motors are driven to slide the display plates 6, 7, 8, and the display colors in the display windows 3, 4, 5 are switched, displaying a "Lock" state or a "Lock-released" state.
