PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a column and a beam capable of easily connecting an H-steel beam to the weak shaft side of an H-steel column at low cost and providing performance desired by a designer by selecting a material, plate thickness, and the quantity of high tension bolts of splice plates connecting the steel column to the steel beam. SOLUTION: In this connection structure of the column and the beam for connecting the H-steel beam 15 to the weak shaft side of the H-steel column 1, a web 11 and an upper flange 12a of a bracket 10 provided on the weak shaft side of the H-steel column 1 are bolt-connected to a web 16 and an upper flange 17a of the H-steel beam 15 through the splice plates 23a, 23b, 20a, and 20b.
