PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing a shield machine passing intermediate shaft allowing a shield machine to pass therethrough after the intermediate shaft is constructed. SOLUTION: In this method of constructing a shield machine passing intermediate shaft 100 capable of constructing a shaft skeleton 101 having a shield machine passing part for destroying, by electrolytic corrosion, a shaft soil retaining steel material 10 before the shield machine is passed, the shield machine passing part comprises a shield machine arrival entrance 104 and a shield machine start entrance 105. The shield machine arrival/start entrances 104 and 105 are closed by a pressure cover 3 in which an electrolyte solution 2 can be filled. An electrode plate 3b made of a conductive material is fitted to the inner surface of the pressure cover 3, and by using the electrode plate 3b as a negative pole and the shaft soil retaining steel material 10 as a positive pole, a voltage is applied to the steel material to destroy the steel material by electrolytic corrosion.
