PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head in which adverse effect of liquid, e.g. ink, on a circuit board can be prevented effectively by preventing a small space introducing the liquid from being formed between the protective wall part of a head cover and the side face part of a head case. SOLUTION: The head cover 39 of a recording head 30 has an opening 71 for exposing the nozzle face of a liquid ejection nozzle in a channel unit, a frame part 72 provided around the opening to support the circumferential edge part of the channel unit against the mounting face, protective wall parts 73, 74, 75 and 76 standing integrally from the frame part to cover the side face of the head case, and supporting parts 77, 78 and 79 formed integrally with the protective wall parts and being secured to the head case extending in the circumferential direction while being bent from the protective wall parts wherein the protective wall parts are formed to be enlarged toward the supporting part side.
