PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head in which adverse effect of liquid on a circuit board can be prevented effectively by blocking leakage of liquid to the abutting face of the circuit board and the base part of a head case through capillarity, and to provide a liquid ejector employing it. SOLUTION: The liquid ejection head 30 comprises a nozzle 41a for ejecting liquid, a head case 37 for principally containing the driving means of the nozzle, and a circuit board 35 secured to the head case and applying a driving voltage to the driving means. The circuit board 35 is secured to the side of the head case 37 opposite to the side arranged with the nozzle 41a. The head case 37 is provided with a supporting part 21 abutting against the circuit board 35 in order to form a specified gap G2 between the circuit board 35 and the head case 37 along the outer circumference of the circuit board.
