PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printer capable of printing even printed matter with irregularities showing excellent reproducibility. SOLUTION: The stencil printer comprises a suspended mist chamber 3 almost entirely blocked excepting an opening part 2, mist generators 4Y, 4C, 4M and 4B which supply ink mist to the suspended mist chamber 3, a stencil paper 5 arranged at a position for blocking the opening part 2 of the chamber 3, printed matter 33 arranged over the upper face of the stencil paper 5 and a suction means 6. This suction means 6 has a suction space 7 formed on the opposite side to the chamber 3 bordering on the stencil paper 5 and the printed matter 33 and the internal air of the chamber 3 is sucked through the printed matter 33 and the stencil paper 5 by reducing the internal pressure of the suction space 7.
