发明名称 METHOD FOR INSPECTING INKJET HEAD
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance production efficiency by finding out failure of a piezoelectric element or insufficient adhesion of the piezoelectric element surely in the early stage. SOLUTION: An inkjet head comprises a piezoelectric element generating a pressure variation in a compression chamber upon application of an electric signal, a diaphragm forming at least a part of the wall face of the compression chamber and coupled with the piezoelectric element through a resilient material, a restrictor becoming a channel for supplying ink to the compression chamber, a common ink supply path for supplying ink to the restrictor, and a plurality of nozzles comprising orifices becoming openings for ejecting ink liquid drops from the compression chamber. The inkjet head measures the basic wave at the resonance frequency of the piezoelectric element and the harmonics for each nozzle using an impedance analyzer and determines the ratio thereof thus detecting failure of the piezoelectric element itself or insufficient adhesion between the piezoelectric element and a board for securing the piezoelectric element.
