An input device includes: an image display section (30) for displaying information; a touch panel (15) for a user to input information by touching a portion corresponding to a position displaying the information on the image display section; an oscillation generation device (71) arranged on the image display section for feeding back to the user a different type of tactile sense via the touch panel according to the type of the information; and an oscillation control circuit (73) for generating a different oscillation in the oscillation generation device according the information type. The oscillation generation device is a bimorph piezoelectric actuator. Each of the first actuator unit and the second actuator unit has a plurality of piezoelectric element layers (63). Thus, when the user inputs information via the touch panel by utilizing tactile sense, it is possible to provide an I/O device capable of surely realizing feedback to the user by the user's tactile sense for the input operation according to the information type.
