The push-on component (1) for fitting onto a wire mesh wall has at least two first sockets (2) to accommodate two wires (9) running from bottom to top, and at least one second socket (5) to hold a transversely extending wire (10). The two first sockets are arranged in mirror image form, and the second socket is designed for snap-on locking of the transverse wire. Both the first and second type of sockets have backs (7) constructed as a bumper. The open ends of the first sockets point outwards.
