<p>An article (1A) comprises a base sheet (2) having first and second ends (15, 16), trunk elastic members (17) extending around the trunk and contractibly mounted on the first end (15), the second end (16) being folded back toward the inner surface of the first end (15), the front end region (18) of the second end (16) being fixed to the first end to cove the elastic members (17). In the article (1A), the first and second ends (15, 16) have opposite side edges (19, 20) and central regions (21, 22), and the first and second ends (15, 16) are fixed to each other in the opposite side regions (19, 20) of these ends (15, 16), while the first and second ends (15, 16) are isolated from each other in the central regions (21, 22) of these ends (15, 16).</p> |
