PURPOSE: A parking brake system integrally assembled with a foot brake is provided to prevent the parking brake from damaging due to overload and to reduce cost and weight by assembling the foot brake and the parking brake integrally. CONSTITUTION: A shaft housing(4) of a foot brake is fixed to the other end of a brake rod(2) having a brake pedal in one end. A shaft housing(5) of a parking brake is arranged separating from the shaft housing of the foot brake on the same axle. The shaft housing of the parking brake is fixed to a mounting plate(6) of a parking cable(9) and a sprocket(7). A housing is arranged inside the shaft housing of the parking brake. A magnetic coil is wound around the housing. A locking pin is supported by an elastic member to be slid inside the housing. Thereby, the shaft housing of the foot brake, the shaft housing of the parking brake, the mounting plate of the parking cable and the sprocket are moved together by connecting the shaft housing of the foot brake and the locking pin against elastic force of the elastic member when electromagnetic force is applied to the locking pin. Thereby, the parking brake is not damaged by overload in braking.
