METHOD FOR PROCESSING INFORMATION AND DATA OF PORTABLE PHONE

PURPOSE: A method for processing information and data of a portable phone is provided to make a selective classification for information having a desired pattern in the process of processing the information and data received through a portable phone. CONSTITUTION: If information or data is received through a portable phone(100), a control part detects it and checks whether the received information or data has a pattern stored in a memory(101). If a stored pattern is detected, the control part classifies the detected pattern by types(102). In case that the classified information or data is a short message containing a phone number stored in the phone book of the portable phone or E-mail(103), the control part checks again whether the pattern of the received information or data is a phone number or a specific string(200). If it is checked that the received information or data is a short message containing a phone number or E-mail, the control part stores the checked information or data in the sentence keeping box of a group storing the phone number(230).
