<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment for surely preventing monitoring of current consumption of a power supply line during specific processing such as encryption processing and with excellent security. <P>SOLUTION: In an IC card 11 which is operated by power to be supplied from an IC card reader/writer 12, transfers data with the IC card reader/writer 12 and performs various kinds of data processing, power supply from the IC card reader/writer 12 is cut off and the power stored in an internal power storage part 28 is used as operating power supply in the case of performing important processing such as the encryption processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
